This service is in an early test phase (alpha). Features may change at any time, be temporarily unavailable, be faulty or be removed. By registering you acknowledge that you are using unfinished software for testing purposes.
Automatic backups already run — daily locally and encrypted to a separate offsite location. During the alpha these backups are best-effort: a formal backup/recovery guarantee with fail-safe follows with the Beta. Therefore also back up important data yourself (snapshot/CSV export) and do not use the service during the alpha as the sole storage location for business-critical data.
The Free version is permanently free (with usage limits) — hosted by The-Y or with a free licence key on your own server (no support, Terms of Use §5a). Optionally you can secure the The-Y CRM Founder licence: permanently €10.00 per billing month as the total amount paid to The-Y — any VAT is included; under reverse charge no Austrian VAT is shown. Later regular price: €20.00 per billing month. Server, hosting and external provider costs are not included. The Founder right arises with the first successful, non-refunded payment, is bound to your company and remains permanently reactivatable; an active subscription is required to use it. Sold exclusively to businesses (B2B). The licence key and self-hosted installation are available now; the key is sent by email after purchase. As this is B2B, no statutory consumer right of withdrawal applies; The-Y nevertheless voluntarily grants a 14-day return right from the first payment (full refund, Founder right expires), and the subscription can be cancelled at any time. Your data is processed solely to provide the service and stored on the operator's servers. On request, your account and data will be deleted. External services (e.g. email/messaging providers) that you connect yourself process data under their own terms.
During the alpha the service is provided “as is”, without warranty of specific properties and without any guarantee. Liability for data loss, outages or indirect damages is — as far as legally permissible — excluded. Mandatory statutory liability (e.g. for intent) remains unaffected.
The operator may change, suspend or terminate the alpha service and these terms at any time. Significant changes will be communicated where possible.
The self-hosting licence is also available perpetually for a one-time payment (€240 in Alpha/Beta, €480 from Live, incl. VAT; B2B only) — also via partner codes (e.g. AppSumo). Updates for as long as we provide them; hosting is not included, the hosted account stays on Free. A refund or chargeback ends the licence. Details: Terms of Use §5.

These alpha terms apply in addition to the detailed terms of use. In case of conflict, the detailed terms of use prevail where permitted; for the processing of personal data, the data processing agreement (DPA) additionally applies.
